What is Entrepreneurship and Why is it Important?

Entrepreneurs are the backbone of our society. They are the people who create the brilliant inventions that have revolutionized our daily lives, from automobiles to microwaves to mobile phones. All of these invaluable products were imagined and created by entrepreneurs who had an idea and brought it to life, benefiting the world while doing so.

In short, entrepreneurs are problem solvers. They see an issue with the world, or find something missing, and through innovation and creativity, find a solution to the problem. Through entrepreneurship and innovation, society progresses and develops. Investing in entrepreneurship is an investment in the future.

That is why, here, at Harmony Plus, we are investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs with our Future Entrepreneur Challenge, a program specifically designed for middle and high school students to be equipped with the skills they need to change the world.

Through this program, students will learn frameworks such as problem and solution evaluation, business model design, MVP development, and value proposition design. Through five weeks of instruction and mentorship from experienced tech professionals, students will develop real products and pitch to a panel of Silicon Valley investors as well as foster long-lasting connections with prominent executives and gain invaluable experience, setting them up for a successful career.
