We are excited to announce that we will be starting a new program called B.I.T. — Business, Innovation, and Technology, with renowned UC Berkeley Professor, Gregory LaBlanc! Professor Greg just finished teaching our Data Strategy Summer Research Program, and will continue to work with us leading B.I.T. from August through May.
Professor Greg is more than qualified to teach B.I.T. He is a professor at the highly-ranked Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, as well as a former professor at UPenn, Duke, and the University of Virginia. He has four Bachelor’s degrees, one Master’s degree, and two doctoral degrees in Finance and Law. He is also the first professor in the nation offering interdisciplinary block-chain courses! He is the perfect person for B.I.T. with expertise in so many different fields and we are thrilled to have him.
In this interview, Professor Greg discusses the immense importance of Data Science and its significance to business. Throughout the B.I.T. program, he will cover trending topics from Data Science, Finance, and Business Decision Making, as well as how they are all intertwined.
