Future Entrepreneur Challenge: Let’s Make Your Dreams a Reality

What is FEC?

FEC, also known as the Future Entrepreneur Challenge, is a program specifically created for helping middle and high school student entrepreneurs achieve their business dreams, helping them in their journey to becoming the next big thing in the world.

Here’s a quote from a former student describing the program.

“FEC goes more into depth about the students’ journey towards entrepreneurship and helps them through the whole process by having successful businessmen and mentors who guide the students through this process that they have already been through before. It’s perfect for students aspiring to create their own businesses as the depth of the content taught is amazing.”

With the FEC, instruction is provided from professionals who have had extensive experience in entrepreneurship before. Along with teaching the fundamental topics, the program also introduces experienced investors, graphic designers, and other professionals to help students get access and help from these people who have been successful in various fields who were key for creating a successful company. Substantial dedicated class time is also offered to help each student get the most out of the program. With homework, class discussions, and experienced professionals who help them develop real products to pitch to Silicon Valley Investors, the top students will build lasting connections with influential figures in the Valley and can win internships at high-growth startups. As a reward for winning the final pitch event, the winning team gets to visit the Airbnb Headquarters in San Francisco (on hold due to the current COVID-19 pandemic).

Impact on a child’s career

The Future Entrepreneur Challenge plays a huge role in the future of a child’s career as well as their mindset. Multiple students who have started off as introverts with little to no interest in entrepreneurship or undecided about their future goals have shown drastic improvement in the way they carry themselves, showing newfound passion for specific topics, roles, and the life of an entrepreneur through this FEC program. This program not only teaches important life skills such as communication and the joy of working with others, but it also provides students a more concrete idea of what they want to pursue in life, brings out their passions, and really helps shape their career. By showing them numerous opportunities in life and examples of how other big entrepreneurs succeeded, it also grants the motivation and competition to win the prize and that brings the best out of everyone. Attending this program, as well as learning vital lifelong skills, is also a huge point for college applications. A student writing about their experience with entrepreneurship and engaging in the process of starting up a company at such a young age can be used to display how they stand out from their peers, how they’re more equipped, and how they’re much better prepared to handle real world challenges.
