Environmental Engineering Recap (Week 5)
As students learn more about the forces, both natural and artificial, that shape the world, so too do they progress into their own research projects. For this week, students dove into the more technical aspects of their projects, using MATLAB to conduct data analysis on their collected datasets and visualizes them to draw inferences from possible patterns. Students also further explored water temperature, salinity, and density, as well as their interactions with other climate cycles around the globe.
The students have now also submitted their first drafts for Dr. Maha’s review, who will provide feedback on how they can further refine and perfect their work. In the final week, students will also create an accompanying poster along with their research paper for a presentation for their peers. We look forward to seeing the fruits of their research efforts!
